Adele is such a vibey host, like it reminded me of I was at a mate's place. The brekkie was dik, so many choices! Plus, the decor gave off serious lekker vibes, felt fancy but comfy, you know?

Just a touch noisy at night from street traffic, but nothing too hectic.

Everyone was very welcoming and extremely accommodating as well as owner. The location was great, near the town centre.

The hotel met expectations, I will come back. Thank you all for an enjoyable stay for one night. I was upgraded to airy and bright superior king room for safe storage of out bikes. I loved that there were an iron and ironing board, an electronic key card, and a work desk. Location: the property was near city centre and train station. I tried some drinks at bar Barton's Yard, located 5 minutes walk away.

Adele's warm hospitality. The breakfast offered an excellent selection, ensuring I was well-fed for the day ahead.

Make sure to ask for dietary options at breakfast. They accommodate vegan, vegetarian, and traditional Cumbrian preferences with excellent variety.

Clean, comfortable rooms with beautiful decor. Delicious and plentiful breakfast.

On-street parking requires a voucher and can be a bit of a trek from the hotel. Communal bathroom arrangements might catch some off guard, requiring a walk down the corridor.

The owner was oddly each time I needed anything, and do not expect luxury anywhere in sight. The 'complimentary' breakfast felt more like a punishment with the cheapest ingredients, stale as the ambience. Honestly, I expected a cute gesture but instead got an 'experience' that woudl ve been tough to call pleasant.

Adele was super cute and her breakfast spread was delicious and abundant. The cozy room and close proximity to the city center were a lovely bonus during my previous visit!

the bathroom was a bit cramped (not much room to move around). breakfast was served promptly (almost as soon as I sat down! ), wifi was fast, and the room had a great view of the street (plenty of natural light).

Wi-Fi was fast and had a tv. No parking on site was inconvenient.

A Cozy Stay with Delicious Breakfast

The poached eggs at breakfast were a highlight! Odele was cute, ensuring every detail was taken care of.

Cornerways guest house was such a nice place for my stay! Adele, the host, is super friendly and really makes u feel at home. The room was very comfy and clean, and the breakfast? Oh my god, it was amazin with lots of options. The location is also great, close to the city center so easy to walk around. I also loved that there were proper mugs for my tea, not those tiny ones, haha!

The wifi was a bit spotty at times, and I had to keep reconnecting. Parking can be a hassle since it's on the street a bit far.

Conveniently located in a quiet spot that won't break the bank, close to awesome places to eat and not far from the hustle and bustle of downtown. 🌟

The staff here are friendly and very helpful, including the owner.

The location was amazing, just a 5-minute walk to the County Council and close to cafes and restaurants on Warwick Road.
